Following his £40million switch to Chelsea, Alejandro Garnacho has witnessed several of his ex-Manchester United colleagues express their thoughts on the Argentine's departure. The 21-year-old left United, with his transfer to Stamford Bridge confirmed last weekend. He spent the summer amongst the 'Bomb Squad' at Carrington-alongside fellow outcast Jadon Sancho, who agreed a move to Aston Villa on deadline day.
After his exit, Garnacho posted an emotional tribute on social media, thanking United for nurturing his development. "Dear Manchester. After an unforgettable five years, this special chapter in my life now comes to a close," he penned on Instagram. "We have created moments that will stay with me forever, and I'm very grateful for this."
"To the coaches, staff, and my teammates, thank you for believing in me. Every time I wore the badge, I gave everything I had. I leave proud of what we achieved together and I'm also excited for what's to come. Wishing the club nothing but success for the future, while I look forward to giving my all in the next chapter of my career."
Kobbie Mainoo was amongst the first to respond, having been prevented from departing United in recent days himself, despite Ruben Amorim's apparent reluctance to grant him consistent opportunities in the centre of midfield. "All the best bro," penned the England midfielder.

Former United defender Sam Murray, who moved to National League outfit Carlisle United earlier this year, commented: "All the best hermano."
Matthijs de Ligt, Bruno Fernandes, Joshua Zirkzee, Rasmus Hojlund, Mainoo, Toby Collyer and Dan Gore were amongst the United stars who had 'liked' the message too.
Garnacho's standing at United suffered a blow following a disagreement with Amorim last season, after being dropped from the starting XI for the Europa League final.
His social media behaviour, liking posts suggesting he deserved to start the match, sparked considerable controversy and subsequently, following his outburst in the mixed zone after the final and Amorim indicating he wanted him gone, a departure was inevitable.
