Lisa Faulkner has shared a career bombshell following the sacking of her husband John Torode from BBC cooking show MasterChef. The pair star together on ITV morning show John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen, which has confirmed to be continuing after Torode was sacked from his BBC job after allegations he made a racist remark, which he says he does not remember.
Now it appears Lisa is away filming something new as she shared a tease to her Instagram page, posting a glamorous selfie which depicted her in a loose denim shirt, worn open at the collar, and a pair of light jeans. Lisa added a gold pendant necklace around her throat and a chunky watch around one wrist, sweeping her blonde hair into a ponytail with loose waves framing her face.
Lisa teased fans: "Thought I would share a pic of today's shoot. Was so lovely to see my @justwade makeup and the brilliant @lill_lis cooking and chatting and filming with the loveliest team." She later added a snap of her in the back of a car with the caption: "Good morning... some filming today!!"
It comes after ITV confirmed she and hubby John will continue to have their show aired. A spokesperson said: "There is no change to the ITV schedule and John and Lisa's Weekends will be broadcast as usual and will continue to air for the next three weeks."
The broadcaster also plans to welcome the pair back in December 2025 for Christmas specials of the show.

Today, the final series of MasterChef starring Torode and his co-star Gregg Wallace hit BBC iPlayer, with the first episode set to air on BBC One tonight (August 6) at 8pm.
John is accused of using "an extremely offensive racist term in the workplace" - an allegation that was upheld in an investigation by law firm Lewis Silkin. John, however, insisted: "I have no recollection of what I'm accused of.
"The enquiry could not even state the date or year of when I am meant to have said something wrong."
