Battlefield 6 publisher Electronic Arts is gearing up for what feels like its most important gaming launch in years.
After the disappointing response to Battlefield 2042 back in 2021, EA is back with a brand new mainline entry in the first-person shooter series, as Battlefield 6 launches on October 10.
And with Call of Duty Black Ops 7 getting a rather lukewarm response, this feels like a great opportunity for Battlefield 6 to become this year's biggest shooter.
If you're thinking of joining Team Battlefield and want to save some cash on the PS5 version, then the good news is that you can get a discount by visiting the Loaded website (formerly CD Keys).
The online retailer is selling £70 PlayStation gift cards for just £63.99, or combinations of other values if the £70 card is sold out.
After purchasing a top-up card from Loaded, the retailer will send you a link with the code that can redeemed on the PlayStation Store.
Once you've added the credit to your PlayStation account, you can pick up the £69.99 Standard Edition having only spent £63.99.
There are actually two different versions of Battlefield 6 available for purchase, including the more expensive Phantom Edition for £99.99.
You can also save on a £100 gift card, which is available for £89.99 from Loaded. This means you can get the £99.99 Phantom Edition having only spent £89.99.
The Phantom Edition contains the base game including all of the single and multiplayer content, as well as the bonus Tombstone Pack for pre-order customers.
That's on top of a Battlefield Pro Token, which unlocks the Battle Pass with 25 tier skips. You'll also receive the Phantom Pack containing four skins, weapon packs, vehicle skin and other items.
As for the game itself, Battlefield 6 features a full campaign mode, as well as a selection of smaller and large-scale multiplayer maps.
The bigger maps are perfect for Conquest, Breakthrough, and Rush, while classic modes like King of the Hill, Domination, and Payload offer a faster-paced experience.
Battlefield 6 launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 10.
