Michael Jordan appeared to share an honest opinion during the foursomes of the Ryder Cup on Friday. The NBA superstar was present at Bethpage Black to cheer on Team USA, who aim to best their rivals across the pond in the coveted team tournament.
Luke Donald and Keegan Bradley were eager for a triumphant morning in Farmingdale, New York, but it was Team Europe who emerged from the opening session with the upper hand over their American rivals. Europe notched up a 3-1 victory in the morning foursomes, carving out a two-point advantage heading into the afternoon fourballs.
Tyrrell Hatton and Jon Rahm put the first point on the board for Europe with a 4&3 win against Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas.

Jordan, a well-known golf enthusiast, made his way to Bethpage Black to cheer on Team USA at this year's Ryder Cup.
According to Golf.com reporter James Colgan, he was present as Hatton and Rahm surged ahead of Team USA in the competition's opening match.
Colgan claims that upon Hatton sinking a birdie putt to extend Europe's lead to three-up, Jordan said: "We got problems."
The European side continued their dominance with convincing victories in the following two matches of the foursomes session.
Ludvig Aberg and Matt Fitzpatrick delivered a 5&3 triumph over Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley, followed by Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood securing a 5&4 win against Collin Morikawa and Harris English.
Donald and his European teammates were aiming to sweep a quadrant of foursomes matches, but it wasn't meant to be.
Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay defeated Robert MacIntyre and Viktor Hovland by two holes, adding some red to the scoreboard after the morning session.
The morning's outcome is one of Team Europe's best performances on American soil in recent Ryder Cup history.
Europe needs to secure another 11 points to keep the trophy or 11.5 to outright win it on US soil for the first time since 2012.
