Ingredients
Garlic cloves - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1 liter
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Vinegar - 1/2 teaspoon
Rose water - 1/2 teaspoon
Dried fruits - 2 teaspoons
Recipe
First, add garlic cloves and vinegar to 1-2 cups of water and boil for 5-6 minutes. This will reduce the garlic smell.
- Meanwhile, bring milk to a boil in another pot. While boiling, stir occasionally to prevent the milk from burning or sticking to the bottom.
- After the milk has boiled for about 7-8 minutes, add cardamom powder along with sugar and cook for a while over medium heat.
- The thicker the milk, the tastier the kheer will be. Strain the boiled garlic thoroughly from the water and add it to the boiling milk, and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, add rose water and mix well. Shortly after adding the rose water, add the dried fruits and mix well.
- If you wish, you can also use the dried fruits to garnish the kheer. Garlic kheer is ready.
