Silver Rate Update (6 November 2025): On Thursday, silver prices witnessed another fall, marking the third consecutive day of decline. In Delhi and most major cities, the price of 1 kilogram of silver dropped by up to ₹500 compared to yesterday. However, the fall was steeper in Chennai and Hyderabad, where rates plunged by as much as ₹2,000 per kg. As of today, silver is trading at ₹1,50,400 per kg in Delhi and ₹1,62,900 per kg in Chennai.
💹 Why Are Silver Prices Falling?Experts suggest that the recent decline in silver rates is primarily due to a dip in international market prices. After the festive season, domestic demand has also cooled off. Earlier, demand for gold and silver surged during the festival period, but post-festivities, the market has softened.
That said, analysts believe this correction is temporary. With the wedding season approaching in India, domestic demand is expected to remain strong, potentially stabilizing or pushing prices upward in the coming months.

⚙️ Rising Industrial Demand for SilverSilver is no longer limited to jewelry or utensils. In recent years, its demand has surged in industries such as electronics, solar energy, and technology manufacturing.
It is a key material used in mobile phones, computer chips, solar panels, and other high-tech equipment. This expanding use case has contributed to long-term bullish trends in silver prices despite short-term market fluctuations.
Bottom Line:
While silver prices have softened due to short-term market corrections, experts expect a rebound as industrial consumption and wedding-season demand pick up pace. Investors and buyers may view this dip as a buying opportunity before prices start climbing again.
