Chelsea appear to have finally found a new club for Axel Disasi. The 27-year-old defender, who the Blues signed from Monaco for £38.5million in the summer of 2023, faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge, having failed to earn a place in Enzo Maresca's side.
Disasi was shipped out on loan to Aston Villa in the January transfer window, where he made 10 appearances. The France international featured at centre-half and right-back during his stay, helping Unai Emery's side finish sixth in the Premier League.
Despite Disasi's best efforts, Aston Villa chose not to pursue his signature at the end of the season. football.london understands that numerous English top-flight clubs were interested in signing the Frenchman in the summer, including Bournemouth, who held talks over a loan move.

Instead, the Cherries opted to fork out £13m on Veljko Milosavljevic from Red Star Belgrade and bring in Alex Jimenez on loan from AC Milan. Chelsea were unable to find Disasi a new club, and he is still training away from the first team.
However, a potential suitor has reportedly emerged. According to Italian outlet Juve.Live, Juventus could target the Frenchman as they look to bring in cover for Gleison Bremer, who missed most of last season due to anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The report claims that the Club World Cup champions could be prepared to agree a loan deal, which includes an option to buy clause. Speaking to reporters in September, Maresca provided an update on Disasi's future after he, and Raheem Sterling, failed to find a new clubs.
"I've been in Raheem's situation and Axel's situation as a player," said the Blues boss. "I know that it's not the best feeling, because if you're a player it means you want to train and play.
"But for different reasons, the situation is what it is in this moment. I know that the club is giving them the opportunity to work in the right way, and this is the only thing I can say.
"It's something you like to talk about but it's not just Chelsea, it's any club in the world, I can promise you. Italy, Spain, England, France, USA, Brazil, any country in the world.
"For any reason the player and the club doesn't find a solution, if you are not involved in the squad you are not involved in the squad. Again, I know that it's something that you like to talk about but it's not about Chelsea, it's about any club in the world."
Maresca added: "My father is 75 years old, and for 50 years he has been a fisherman working from two o'clock in the morning until 10 o'clock in the morning. This is a hard life. Not the way a player works."
A week or so later, Tosin Adarabioyo and Wesley Fofana suffered knocks, ruling them out of a clashes against Brighton, Benfica and Liverpool. When asked if Disasi could be reintegrated in light of the injury crisis, Maresca said: "There is not any information from the club to consider that, so at the moment he is not an option."
